No Resolve with Online Walmart Purchase

On 3/8/24 I purchased a Hamilton Beach stand mixer, I got it delivered yesterday and my husband and I tried to make cookie dough and the entire motor died. We let it set for about an hour or so to see if it was he motor that over heated which it shouldn't have and after an hour or so we tried to turn it back on and it wouldn't even run. I had purchased the protection plan for it but when I tried to file a claim it wouldn't let me and it gave me a phone number that wasn't to the manufacturer but to Walmart University. I can't even get a hold of Allstate which is where the protection plan is through. When I called Walmart they told me to bring it in, however, I have no way to get to Walmart. All I want is for either the mixer to get fixed through my protection plan or for the manufacturer to give me a new one and send someone to pick up the one I have. also Hamilton Beach needs to put the correct phone number not Walmart University's phone number.

Return policy sucks & untrained employees

Windsor has the worst customer service. I had bought 2 dresses online for our daughters homecoming event. I didnt know what size to order but I ordered 2 of the same dresses in 2 different sizes, a red in a size M and a blue in a size small. The red one arrived before the the event but was too big. At this point we are a day before the event and the blue one had not even shipped, it took more than a week to ship second item (keeping in mind 14 days to return). After realizing this dress will not arrive in time, I went to the Windsor store in Columbia MD to see if they had any small in stock. To my luck, they had the Blue dress in a small. I went to the register and before purchasing it I specifically asked the cashier if there would be any issues if I needed to make a return. She said not at all as long its within 14 days. She never mentioned that it was a special event merchandise and that I had to return only at that store nor did it have the special tag. Fast forward to today Tuesday October 11th when I went to the Arundel Mills Windsor store since I had do other returns. I go into the store and wanted to return this blue dress that was bought from the store in additional to the online red medium dress that was too big . The cashier who later told me her name was Dionna said I could not return the blue dress even though I had the store receipt and was within the allotted time. She said it was a special event item and could not be returned. Now what I dont understand is its the same store and the policy should be the same. I was livid at this point bc I went on to explain to her that I was told it was returnable. If I had been told that it only had to be returned at the Columbia store I would not wasted my time and would have gone directly there. Your employees need to better trained and informed of the return policy. Esp since you provide only 14 days to return. It is very inconvenient for me to now have to go out of my way to go to the Columbia mall to fulfill this return. People are already strapped for money and time as it is that you have this mundane return policy. This is in addition to my sister who had bought 2 dresses from the arundel mills Windsor to find out that one of the dresses was not refundable. I witnessed this and she was stuck with the item bc this was not communicated at the time of purchase. My experience wasnt any better and it needs to be said that better communication is warranted to the consumer so that you have less unhappy customer. You want your customers to talk positive about your store and would likely want to come back themselves. My personal experience is going to keep me away from buying anything here in the future. The employee couldnt even acces the corporate information with ease despite waiting for 5 minutes by the register, I was able to pull it up online within second. Sent my daughters dress to a random NC address that we have never heard of

When I finally got in touch with customer service they said they would expedite dress so she could have for the dance, It says it will arrive by 9PM the night of the dance. Couldn't they have tried a little harder. I def want my money back and will think twice for the next 4 years of dances.

User's recommendation: When placing orders with any company, be certain you're ordering from companies that have quality merchandise, and not placing orders just because the price is to you cheap. Cheap never means quality.

My dress had a incorrect address for delivery so it was returned to Windsor. They sent the same dress to my correct address and promised it to me faster than first time!! Awesome customer service!! Thanks so much!!

Checking up on a order
